Few days ago an x-army general
of USSR warned America that the occupation of Afghanistan can prove fatal for
it, and that American should take a lesson from the fate of USSR which was only
due to its blunder of harboring the notion of access to warm water via
Afghanistan.
The warning of the x- Russian general is right on its own place and the fact
that it was the quagmire of Afghanistan that led to the disintegration of the
world super power, but we should also remember that at that time USSR was alone
in this adventure and all the world community was in the camp of USA and was
pouring its weapons, money and men to Afghanistan and kept the Russian forces
entangled in the quagmire which led to all this.
Often I discuss the history of Afghan war and the role played by the Pakistani
intelligence agencies with my elders who have taken active part in that war
during their services in the Pak army. They relate the stories how they trained
the Afghan Mujahidin in handling stinger missiles which broke the back bone of
Russian air force; and how they distributed trucks full of ammunition among
those Mujahidin. And how they provided logistic support to those young students
who considered that war a holy one and fight with the Russian agents in the
hills of Afghanistan.
I remember how the government- run media was busy in brain washing the public
for calling the Afghan war as a holy one.
Perhaps there wasn’t any other country dearer to American then Pakistan, and
there wasn’t any group more loved by the Pentagon than Mujahidin.
And that’s why one cannot control ones laugh at the warning of the x-Russian
army soldier. Those who indirectly break USSR will see itself being torn into
pieces through Afghanistan? Are they not aware of all those war tactics which
they used against the Russians for which they used the territory of Pakistan by
involving all the state military machinery in it? In order to check the progress
of the Red Storm toward the warm water, the Yankees succeeded in their proxy war
against the USSR.
Now America is himself present in Afghanistan. Though it claims to have brought
the agenda of peace and democracy to Afghanistan, but its clandestine motives
are more than that. The main agenda of the Yankees in this region is not so
difficult to understand- to compel Pakistan to forsake its Islamic identity,
role back its nuclear capability, to check the influence of China in the region
by promoting Indian hegemony in the region, and to make Iran a west friendly
country by using every method and to enjoy an unchallenging role of a superpower
in the globe in the next half a century.
The American policy makers’ joys would have found no bound when Pervez Musharaf
the then president of Pakistan would have given his consent to purge the ISI
from those elements who had some sort of Islamic background and who had played
an active role in defeating the Red Storm and now can pose a similar threat to
the White Storm of the Yankees.
When we go through such kind of analysis our fear for the integrity and
solidarity of our dear motherland increases many fold. And also get infuriated
on those who watch all this and are the slaves of compromises of one kind or
another.
Those Mujahidin who were once the feathers of American crown now transformed
into Taliban and our state agencies are trying to hand them over to the American
alive or perish them in the drones’ attacks.
These are those who were resistant in the way of Red Storm and now they are
checking the march of White Storm towards the warm waters.
And that is the reason that the Yankees are spending huge amount for changing
the policies and Psyche of our rulers in making these Mujahidin as terrorist and
eventually using them for fighting these elements. And this noble task was
initiated by Pervez Musharaf and is carried on by the products of NRO.
Hats off to all those Mujahidin who in spite of our state treachery kept the
candle of freedom burning and do not allow the Yankees to drive their nail deep
in the region.
But for how long they will resist the White Storm when our own resources are
being used for the completion of its agenda.
Where is that ISI whose name was just a hope for all Pakistani? It is now busy
in distributing laser chips in the tribal areas to provide precise guidance to
American drones attacks. That’s why the Yankees will win. The x-Russian soldiers
are wrong to say that the Yankees will have the same fate as was the USSRs’.
