Despite of certain reforms & transformation since day of Independence in political era, still not enable us to produce true leadership with required vision and decisive approach. Thoroughly reviewing history elaborates lot of lagging factors truly contributing in this area. Gist of drastic contributors even observed in newly founded political parties those got fame & audience with bundles of applauds by raising slogan against these sick norms. Public is still in phase of hope from these new comers who raised voice in line with their demand but now seems falling in same woven web. To identify public demand and get rid of such disreputable norms in political system can only outcomes with desired leadership which leads towards resolution of public issues and bring harmony, prosperity in their lives. Main contributors in actual failure of political system are Dynastic Politics Public unawareness & Lack of contribution Existence of feudalism in 21st Century Social Structure tribalism a curse Sectarianism Nationalist factor Unfair Party electoral System Though identified contributors has commonly known but still hindering & halting public to have pure leadership equipped with skills, vision, education & wisdom. These entire touchstones already ruined old parties ruling or existing since past few decades but also plagued new political parties except only single “Jammat-e-Islami” found still combating even under adverse circumstances. Dynastic Politics roots seems stronger with passage of time in recent “Local Govt. Polls” being held in KPK where PTI, PLMN, ANP, JUIF strongly supported family members of elected legislative members. Seems even after lot of criticism & vexation none of political party learned to combat against this curse. In fact Leaders usually are bold enough and one who takes decisions to get rid of such mess can only prove his/her worth and transparency in open court of public. Electoral Politics in Pakistan has remained largely a family enterprise since past decades & its continuity even at grass root level is alarming and continuous threat for true patriot. This not only open door for corruption but continues biased politics and also remain hurdle in selecting right person for right job. Fitting the unfit at public serving & legislative position results in poor law and order situation in country. Public unawareness && Lack of contribution is the core factor in failure of political system, where many among us are unaware of hidden mottos of so-called political leaders and raising their slogans even many of them are unaware of party manifesto. This is extreme tragedy in homeland where public comes out of street & spending their precious hours in political gatherings even without knowing agenda of leader and party. Many of them following media boom, elders weight age and routine analysis of so-called analyst. Despite of this first creature, second among us are those literate, intellectuals, technocrats being well aware of normal even hidden agenda of political giants running shows are not playing their vital role. Their contribution in electoral system may reduce impact which nation suffering till date due to their silence. Existence of feudalism in this age of 21st century still influencing voters to select “Feudal Lord “willingly or unwillingly. The Feudalism in Pakistan has a stranglehold on the economy and politics of the nation. The feudal landlords have created states within a state where they rule their fiefs with impunity. The landlord’s influence spans over the police, bureaucracy and judiciary. The majority of the politicians in Pakistan are themselves feudal landlords. Political parties owned by these self announced leading elite in practice remains partner or allies of ruling parties & strengthening their states inside states using official resources. Social Structure still build mainly on tribalism specifically in rural or somehow in urban areas is also a curse & impacting badly in selecting right candidate with abilities. Recent electoral phase of year 2013 & Local Govt. polls held in KPK unveiling this nepotism at its full essence. Most famous parties avoiding such political sick norms like Jammat-e-Islami & PTI couldn’t combat this challenge boldly. Which clearly depicting worst & poor political system running in homeland paralyzed in selection of true leadership. Sectarianism a minor but existent factor in selecting candidate also adding values in degradation of political system where ethnicity became source of like or dislike. A fact recognized by all in Pakistan is that the people of the country are not sectarian-minded. Before jihad took hold of Pakistan and extremist clerics became threatening, there was considerable harmony between the sects. Muharram was not the season of sectarian violence and mayhem. Today, the world understands that the intensification of the sectarian feeling among the clerics is actually a result of a war relocated from Pakistan’s neighborhood in the Gulf. Nationalism is another weakness in political system & identifying a narrow and limited vision of political leadership. In order to get easy fame and exploiting public feelings one may raise slogan of rights of his nation/tribe fellows and become a leader except to have a vision of country’s issues & resolutions. Contradictory politics began with this concept and became a permanent source of weakness in overall political dilemma. Renowned political parties like ANP,JSQM,MQM,PKAMP etc must be merged at national platform and need to work for country else than for a state & tribe only. Last but not the least the office bearers of active political parties are mainly vaunt than elected inside party also grass root failure of political system. Parties unable to conduct fair elections among their active workers are not worthy to be appointed at sensitive legislative section of country.
