Every man have to taste death in this world. But how
the last rites of him performed after death? Different religions have
their different methods of last rites. People do it according to their
religion , culture and heritage. Most of the methods are known to world.
But some methods are such interesting and brutal you will be shocked
after knowing.
To change the dead into mummy:
Thousands of years ago in ancient Egypt to preserve the bodies of the
princes and kings this methods was used. In this method the different
parts of the body including the heart and brain were separated. Then the
empty body was filled with chemical timber. Then the whole body was
wrapped in cotton and stored. Egyptians had the belief that after doing
this the souls of the dead are safe until the final trip. The oldest
mummy is 6 thousand years old.
Heavenly rituals:
In this ritual Buddhist monk people of Tibet cut the body of dead into
pieces and place that pieces in-front of birds. 80% of the monks are
still using this method.

Taxidermy:
In this method the dead animal are given living shape by filling their
body with chemical timber and wood-chips. But now some people bequeathed
to make taxidermy of them so they can live long.
Space:
This method was started in 20th century. In this method according to
wish of that person body is packed in to capsule after burning. Then
that capsule is fired into space with the help of rocket. Last rites of
150 persons are performed with this method.

Aquamation:
This method is usually used in America. In this body is packed in to a
steel machine and then body is burnt at certain temperature. With this
body is converted into liquid and bones are saved. Then the bones are
converted into ash with hands. That ash later handed over to relatives.
Then they pour that ash into water.
Offering spirits:
Some tribes from Asia bury the dead in the fields away from population.
For this they put a large rock in the middle and put some food of
animals over that rock. People of Vietnam put some money with the dead
body. Because they believe that dead need money to survive after dead. |

To cut your fingers with the dead:
West papuagny Dani tribe expressed his unhappiness with performing
interesting and weird ritual. In this ritual the closet woman of dead
cuts her finger and that finger is buried with dead to show sorrow and
love towards dead.
Tower of Silence:
In ancient world Zoroastrians people left dead body onto Tower of
silence for days. And some time later they collected remaining bones
from tower. Later bones were strangled in the Lime. They believed that
with this process dirty things touched by dead will be cleaned.

To keep on trees:
In Australia, Britain, Colombia and some tribes in Serbia people tied
dead body with roots and branches of trees and left there.
Funeral ships:
Tenth-century pirate lords those ruled on the European shores. The dead
body of their leaders were sent into middle of the sea with gold ,
silver and food on ships. Then later that ships were burnt. It was
believed that the souls of the dead remain calm with this ritual.
