Every New Year we set our yearly resolutions and it is super to do so. However in Ramadan when we are bound to focus extensively on spiritual and personality grooming, resolutions for these special 30 days are a must. Every year when Ramadan is near, we get eager and excited to have the Ramadan-vibe in air and plan just so much for it but as they come, we get engrossed in fasting routines while managing to hold up our creative side, alive. And Whoops! The Ramadan gets over… without us making any valuable changes in ourselves, our life patterns, significant duas, spiritual practices and achieving the harmonious affirmed, successful year of proceeding count.

You never plan to fail,
you fail to plan right!

Surely our intentions sail right but our plans get shaken and distorted, disabling us from achieving any targets. The only solution towards gaining full potent in Ramadan in all aspects is to note down your goals or best stated as, “Ramzan Resolutions” and keep a track twice in a week to make sure you aren’t losing a speck.

So what are your resolutions for the holy month? Let’s get started.

Take a notebook and write down your Ramzan goals.

Here are a few resolution ideas we are sharing from our own resolution chart, hope you find all helpful!

1. Eating well and Eating Slow.

In Ramadan, due to hunger we break our fasts and eat at a wild pace which is very harmful for our health. First resolution is to be patient, chew our food well and eat slowly.

2. Adding fruits and vegetable as a must on iftar and Sehri table.

As a Pakistani, we have the royal kind of iftar table counting from meaty, spiced, and to all the yummy good stuff, being well fried.

Instant large consumption of oil after daylong fasting drains our energy but we are not stopping you from the hot & delicious food plates but instead recommending you to add fruits and vegetable salad so that your attention divides and you also catch some nutrients and real health.

3. Praying complete Rikkats

Oh we all know how often we skip our Sunnat riqqats while only praying the mandatory farz ones. This Ramzan push yourself to at least pray 5 times daily prayers with complete riqqats. If you can’t even do this, you are missing the whole point of Ramzan.

4. Reading

We know so less about our potential and identities. This Ramadan invest in yourself by reading a couple of books which increase in your knowledge and personality strength.

For example Rabia Al Basri, the great sufi and Ayesha Al Khwayyidah, the mother of believers, princess of Quresh and the great CEO of 14th century are a couple of women among many other, we need to draw direct inspiration from.

5. Reciting Qur’an with Tarjumah

Reciting Qur’an with Tarjumah to seed in the lasting tree of tranquility and spirit in our hearts, is a must-to-do this Ramadan.

6. Adding personal goals

Add your personal goals in the list and do not forget to follow up our “100 Instructions from Qur’an –Becoming A Better Human” series article.
