As the members of one species,
we have common heredity (biological heritage) in many things; our internal and
external body organs are similar in shape and number. However, we differ in
performance. Taking performance into consideration, people may be divided into
two major classes. First Class includes individuals who possess very high
character; usually, they are educated, intelligent, efficient, skillful, honest,
civilized and patriotic citizens, hence, they are useful not only for themselves
but also for their families and nation. Second Class comprises of people who
have low character; generally, they are illiterate, unskillful, stupid,
sluggish, dishonest and uncivilized. These individuals are selfish; hence, they
work only for their own interests and do not understand the concept of welfare
of society and honour of the nation, therefore, they are burden on relatives,
society and nation.
Similarly, nations on the earth may be divided into two main groups. First Group
includes nations that are highly advanced in technology, financially very rich,
morally well civilized and extremely powerful in defense. Moreover, these
nations are politically stable and their government institutions ---
legislature, judiciary and administration --- and social organizations are
performing their functions and duties very honestly and efficiently. They have
succeeded in establishing welfare states, which provide basic facilities like
balanced diet, residence, education, medical care, protection of property and
life and speedy justice to their people. Consequently, in these countries, there
are few political disturbances, legal crimes, moral wrongs and threats to
property and life. Among these nations America, Canada, England, France,
Germany, Spain, Italy and Japan are famous. They are called Great Nations. They
are dominating over the World. Second Group comprises nations/countries that are
technically and academically backward, financially poor, morally less civilized
and politically in stable. They have failed in establishing welfare states.
Moreover, they cannot safeguard their sovereignty and are under the domination
and control of the nations of the First Group. Besides, due to the above reasons
along with others, these nations are surrounded by a lot of social, moral,
racial, economic, law and order, political and other problems and difficulties.
For example, today while I am writing these lines, Pakistan is encircled by
problems like price hike, energy shortage, extremism, terrorism, poverty, budget
deficit, corruption, judicial cases against heads of state, etc.
So, there is crystal-clear disparity in character, abilities and performance of
individuals and nations.
Now the questions arise, (a) what are the causes of this disparity and (b) how
character, abilities and performance of a person and a nation may be improved?
This is an important and burning question of humankind. Psychologists,
intellectuals, analyst, religious scholars and other people have answered this
question according to their beliefs and knowledge. I have also tried my best to
find out correct answer of the question. After serious study, careful
consideration and thoughtful observation of many years, I have come to the
conclusion: (a) the real or basic cause of disparity is the Differences of
Intelligence Level, found among the individuals and the nations, and (b) in
order to improve their character, abilities and performance it is inevitable to
uplift their Present Intelligence Level.
In order to clarify of my above conclusion, I would like to highlight, in few
lines, the Importance of Intelligence, the Effects of Difference of Intelligence
Levels and meaning of Present Intelligence Level and Physiological Limit.
Intelligence is a miracle of the universe and the most precious thing for us.
As, all our voluntary actions, whether morally right or wrong, religiously
virtuous or sinful, legally lawful or unlawful are the productions of our
intelligence. Even, a finger’s movement is the command of intelligence.
Therefore, all the elements of character --- thinking, planning, sensations,
sentiments, emotions, awareness of moral values and other similar qualities ---
are the creations of our intelligence. In the absence of intelligence, no
voluntary action can be conceived or performed.
Difference of Intelligence Level plays a decisive role in shaping the fate and
destiny of individuals and nations. The individuals who have higher intellectual
level succeed in every field of life. In the same way, nations who have higher
intellectual level are ruling and dominating the world. On the other hand,
individuals having low intelligence level fail to succeed in life. Similarly, a
nation of low intelligence level cannot establish welfare, self-sufficient and
sovereign state.
Present Intelligence Level means those intellectual capabilities, which a person
has acquired so far; while, Physiological Limit indicate those capabilities,
which a person inherits by birth. Present Intelligence Level may be improved by
a better social environment and amenities.
The main objectives, amongst others, of writing of this article are to uplift
and improve the Present Intelligence Levels of People. I have tried to present
my viewpoints as scientifically as possible.
