class room counseling is an
essential part of the Holy profession of teaching. any person engaged in this
profession can understand its need and importance. today in the era o
information technology, pupil come with more up-to-date knowledge in the class
room and throw challenging questions in front of the teacher causing a noisy
environment. the teacher of this age has to come with much preparation so that
he/she can answer the questions in a satisfactory manner.
sometimes students of the opposite gender; male teacher to female students and
mostly male students to female teachers, throw such questions which can not be
replied directly if the teacher is Muslim. at that time, teacher should have the
ability and skill to control the situation confidently and after giving a valid
and careful answer he/she should divert the topic of the discussion.
it is observed that teacher avoids to discuss the critical issues and shows
anger towards the questioning student. to overcome the hesitation, teacher shows
anger and some times offer punishments to he students. this attitude needs to be
altered we, Muslims are surrounded by our enemy at each and every
platform. students need special care and attention of teachers and parents just
like the care required to handle glass crockery. teacher should address the
concerned issue in effective way and should guide towards the right way after
en-lighting the dark and bright aspect of the issue. teacher should give a level
of freedom to the students to share and discuss even their personal issues.
teacher has to play dual duty of a find as well as of a parent.
through class room counseling teacher can improve the behavior an attitude of
the individuals resulting in a drastic and dramatic change in the society.
teachers should put the economical and financial issue out of the class room and
should fulfill the responsibilities with full realization. struggle on a smaller
area can change the fate of the nation. so why don't we get ready to do this???
