Prosperous and developed Pakistan

Pakistan is a wonderful country with population of 182.1 million( in 2013 according to World Bank). Unfortunately, with an increase in the population of the country, its problems and issues has been growing two fold. Though there are several problems that has been a barrier in the progress of the country, but the major issues include lack of power and gas, poverty, lack of education as well as good educators ,shortfall of job opportunities and corruption. To have a prosperous country ,these matters ought to be considered by the goverment of Pakistan as well as the NGO's.

Power and gas shortfall has always been a challenge for the government of Pakistan which has not been resolved yet. Though there are more than one hundered and fifty dams and reservoirs but these are not enough to provide electricity to whole country. The government has to take prudent decisions for making more dams .It should not be biased by initiating dam projects for one or some provinces instead it should leave no stone unturned to provide power to all the provinces by resolving impending projects like Kala Bagh Dam project. It should also mull over on various power generation systems like solar.

Most of the urban areas of Pakistan lack gas which should be sort out by the government by implementing the decisions taken for providing gas.A survey conducted intermittently will help the government about the implementation of the ongoing projects as well as it will pinpoint which areas are deprived of it. Power and gas supply is more crucial than construction of monunents ,roads ,buildings etc. So its has to be fixed first.

Majority of the population of Pakistan is poor and the rich-poor gap has always been increasing and our political and economic system is responsible for it. Normally income and wealth equality is introduced by the government through tax system whereas in Pakistan this is not the case. The government has to formulate a tax structure that promotes equality. Zakat deduction system from salaries of rich people will help in reducing the rich-poor gap. Regular advertisements on channels regarding islamic teachings of zakat will also persuade people to pay to poor. Similarly income support programs for poor will make a difference .Benazir income support program has helped plenty of needy people. Government should provide loan (without any interest) to poor for commencing busines or capital for their jobs. Similarly government should provide or arrange jobs for its people as numerous talented Pakistanis are working abroad due to shortage of jobs or good packages. It should invite organizations to invest in the country so there are lots of job opportunities .

Majority of population of Pakistan is illiterate. Government's efforts can help in spreading knowledge by making schools where they lack it. Most of the poor children do not join schools because they are labor working to earn some food. Child labor should be banned by providing monthly income to the needy family till the child grows up and able to work after getting secondary or higher education. The teachers should be hired on merit basis .A committee should be made to check weather the teacher or lecturer has the skills to teach or not. Hiring best teachers is very essential as it provides best people to the society and the county but unforunately the government school system is not good enough and parents try to send their children to private schools.

In Pakistan, it is not just the education system that is involved in corruption but all the departments are corrupt, from lower level to upper level .The only solution is a board of loyal and strict members to whom the government shall be accountable.

Pakistan also needs a good, loyal ,foresighted and brave leader who will bring a change ,who will be loved by his people just like Turkish president Recep Tayyib Erdogan is loved by his people whp came out of their homes on his call. A great leadet will work hard to make Pakistan a succesfull and prosperous country.
