Peshawar April 6, 2016. Nearly
60 people, mostly students, take part in the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML)
rally at Peshawar Press Club.
They rallied on Saturday in favor of the extension of the Chief of Army Staff of
Pakistan.
The Chief of Army Staff, Gen Raheel Sharif, has announced he would not be taking
any extension and would bid adieu to the office of the COAS as per the services
rules.
The participants demanded that the COAS should be given extension keeping in
view the security situation within the country and the environment developing
beyond the borders.
The APML participants were carrying placards and banners inscribed with slogans
in favors of COAS Gen Raheel Sharif and former president Parvez Musharraf.
Participants of the Rally also condemn the act of the PIA privatization of
federal Government and said that Pakistan International Airline is profitable
organization but Nawaz Sharif supporting IMF policies in Pakistan that creates
Panic in country and Federal Government destroying the organization. Leader of
APML Peshawar Division Imtiaz Asad Tanoli , also talk with media persons during
protest and said that during the tenure of the Ra heel Sharif, situation is
better and peace now in country, so government of Pakistan give them extension
because people love to COAS. The member of APML stopped the Traffic in the front
of Peshawar Cantt Railway Station & later the left the area peacefully.
The strange thing of APML was low participants of the member of APML worker,
even the provincial Leader didn’t participate in the Rally. AT the end of the
Rally the students of Government colleges and also participants talks with media
person and said that they are not member of APML. Our friend call us to
participate in Rally otherwise have no link with APML.
After the Media talks the students over headed the CAPS of Pakistan Muslim
League. A Traders & newly join member of APML also talk with Media with the
condition of anonymity, that’s in Pakistan if someone wants to survive, u must
support ARMY, That’s why I participate and become member of APML.
