Operation Zarb-e-azab which is ongoing in North Waziristan almost 7 months and 2 days have passed. The operation began one week after a terrorist attack on Pakistan's busiest airport, Jinnah International Airport, in Karachi. Before this attack government have tried many times to have a peace negotiation with the Taliban although the attempts to engage the Taliban in dialogue failed every time due to many reasons: drone attacks and many others. The Pakistani military had prepared for the operation long before, and the government prepared for a three-front operation isolating targeted militant groups, obtaining support from the political parties and saving civilians from the backlash of the operation. The decision was taken after the strategy of dialogue failed. The operation will continue until it reaches its logical conclusion. The first phase of the operation began with intensified airstrike’s in North Waziristan, targeting militant training facilities, hideouts and other infrastructure. The operation has received widespread support from the Pakistani political, defense and civilian sectors. The status of operation is that 90%of the area of North Waziristan has been declared to be cleared. The Army has been struggling so hard to clear the country from terrorist. They have great passion for their country. They don't hastiness to sacrifice their lives for their country and they are actually sacrificing their lives.
