Long time ago, I decided not to
urge a political-socio sentiments in my heart and to stay away with no matters
what’s happening. But, my heart gave a sharp wave when I thought for my country
a while. After all I can’t stop thinking for my beloved land that produced me
and brought me up.
We are facing from mildest circumstance that is shattering our country into many
small particles. Whole country is distributed among the different sectors of
political conflicts and wars.
The issue of Swat has shattered our nerves. Our own land is being brutally
treated by our government. The issue has the opening mouth of Taliban. Taliban,
one of the biggest terrorist tribal gangs, are looking with an evil eye to our
nation with the prospect to deteriorate it and demolish its people. Our
government considers this issue as so called operation that is according to them
very necessary to restrain the peace of the nation. The operation was initiated
in Musharraf’s era that was very condemned and was hoped to be stopped after
Zardari’s presidency. But, like always we are quite unfortunate to meet with
prosperity and harmony and are again confronted with the same agony. According
to our government and news agencies, Taliban are being wiped out thoroughly and
operation is going smooth. But who knows the inner truth? How come people know
that Taliban are killed? And if Taliban were being killed than why still they
exist? Although it’s been one and a half year to the operation. And if so, they
are killed on the cost of innocent peasants of Swat? Millions of people have
lost their homes, who is going to pay for their lost houses? Is it a government
who allocates? No, they are homeless and coping with their tensions day and
night; tensions of being killed, tensions of losing homes, tensions of being
widows and tensions of being orphans, a small life in so many big miseries. Our
soldiers are been brutally slaughtered by the Taliban, are recklessly murdered
and are tortured. And they say the operation is to wipe out Taliban! Strange…
isn’t it?
The last previous days the city Karachi was provoked with the personal
differences of two major political parties, ANP and MQM. They stand before each
others like two different sovereign states that are the great rivals among
themselves and want to hold the power alone. These carefree people are in
pursuit to hold a sovereign power solely and are not supposed to resist their
opponents. And for merely this purpose they hurt human fellows and can even go
beyond. Furthermore, all those who are not a part of this play also got hurt and
were sworn to death. The whole city goes distorted till the conflict ends and no
super authority bothers to tackle it. It’s rather a stunning situation that our
inhabitants are the enemies of our own peace.
Last night my friend’s brother was imprisoned merely for sitting in the ground
in evening. And along with him, four other people were also taken by the police
for being suspects of their belongings into MQM or ANP. These boys were harshly
treated by the police and their families were asked to render fifty thousand
immediately to bale them out. However, some families managed to give while
others were kept to wait whole night for their wards. Isn’t it a shameful
situation? Our police force being efficient jumps into the ground leaves the
evil and captures the innocent who are just audience to the play. This situation
is surprisingly true and has created great impact on many people’s life. People
who are a deviant, roam freely stretching their shoulders and walking as they
are now ready to join the Ring, and are ready to wrestle and innocent people who
work 9 to 5 to feed up their families are imprisoned and are victimized.
Our stock market is fabulously going down day by day. Economy is about to
demolished, different necessity crises counter our way of happy and satisfied
life. Inflation has broken back bone of all classes. This all is in fact is
giving mental agony to all people of Pakistan. Many those who are unable to cope
with the circumstance have found suicide the only way to escape away from
pungent truth.
Looking into all the matters the SUPER CHAIR of the state narrates that the
future would be bright. All the circumstance would end up. Pakistan would emerge
as the shining star of the world. And problems would be solved. So-called
dialogues take place outside the country to assure that Pakistan would corporate
for every foreign act. Tremendous performance!
The truth is that, the future has arrived. This is the future of Pakistan and it
would prolong till she dares to survive. Wars never end up doing something good.
In fact wars wipe out every thing. Our nation is the most unfortunate nation of
the world who is being targeted by its own people. When country men become
opponents of one an other, when dialogues are being placed outside and wars are
created inside the country, than there is nothing to wait.
My eyes cry of bloody tears, when I see my Swat brothers being tortured, when my
Karachities face a deadly day due to political bullshit, when my country is
abused and accused before the whole world, and when fear of loosing my
nationality touches my heart…
The terms yet could be solved if our government tries to understand the foreign
strategy of demolishing us and molds itself to the new shape that would
eliminate the ‘mine and yours conflict’. Any how we as an audience can hope for
the best that the play would end up happily and the lost peace would be
restored.
