Moon is a round shiny object hanging in the sky, as we have to learn about the solar system in our studies we get to know about its atmosphere, environment, distance from earth and so much boring things that never come handy in real life. The light it reflects is the moonlight to be sure, which has a cooling and soothing effect; on the other hand it has a real effect on the poetic nerves, they assume that its quite romantic, the halo it makes on the earth is quite enchanting etc, etc. The loving souls are sure to meet in moonlit nights in fantasy novels. Many people believe that it has some thing to do with their horoscopes which in turn can make them lucky or unlucky. There are many myths known to be associated with the moon; one of which states that if you gaze at the full moon steadily and for a long time you become insane, though I have not tried to find out the truth merely because I don’t want to be more insane than I already am. It is an interesting thing to note that if you look hard enough there appears to be a face looking back smiling at you, similar to the one that was used in the dentonic tooth paste or powder ad when I was a little kid. Some times the shape even changes to a bunch of bananas, though you can’t pick and have one.
