Today in Nawabshah and Qazi
Ahmad while addressing to public gathering he said that last year the govt. was
giving twenty five thousands to the flood victims and he (the great Nawaz
Shariff) asked Mr Prime Minister to give one lakh instead. Because he thinks
that this is enough for poor Pakistani’s.
I think that this is enough but if this is given every month. Otherwise this is
a joke with them because this proves to be their ration for four five months.
When they received this money they were homeless and it was impossible for them
to go back to their places and start building their homes. Even if it was
possible tell me who is ready to level or clear the plot for building in one
lakh, also if it is possible then where is the money for constructing the
building.
Some peoples will argue that the govt. is not responsible to construct houses
for the peoples. But this is not the case of building houses, it is the case of
reconstructing houses .if some one think or say (as did I) that many of the
houses were constructed in the way of water or very close to the rivers and this
was their own fault, yes this was their fault but it was govt. responsibility to
stop them .this shows that every govt. is responsible for it and have to
construct them from their own expenses.
