I am talking about 2015.when I
talk with some one who is studying and have many many dreams in his mind.I asked
some questions.what is your purpose of education?why are you getting
education?why you struggled so much just for education?what makes education so
important for you? I just got one answer.every one said I am getting education
because I want to become an engineer,doctor,accountant etc.what benefits you
will receive by doing this.I will get a huge pay.I have a big house,my life will
be very good etc.These kinds of answers I generally got from many students.why
not they said we are getting education to become a good member of society.what
happened when parents taught their children in childhood that you have to get
education so your life will be very good.when they grow up they don't know how
to solve even a small problem of their lives.Today we are getting education as a
bussiness .Is that all you learn from education ? Martin Luther king Jr said
that " The function of education to teach one to think intensively and to think
critically .Intelligence plus character that is the goal of true education ".We
have to taught our children how to walk rather than where to walk .when I was
small I also got these kinds of lectures from many people.Even our teachers also
taught us these things.Our parents forget to give us society education .I have
seen many educated people who do not know How to respect elders ? How to talk
with someone?
How to live in a society ? The only thing that they know is how to earn more and
more money ? Due to these kinds of education system we create many problems in
our social life.You can't buy peace,love,happiness,feelings from money ,than why
not we taught these things to our children from their childhoods.so they can
learn how to live not how to get more money.I have seen many colleges what they
says is that get admission here we will make you what you want to be a doctor
,an engineer any field else.I just shocked when I read these sentences on
colleges front gates.They are making human machines not a good member of the
society.Its really just funny,a human machine and every student love to become a
human machine.Today we had invented many things but on the other hand we are
losing love,peace,happiness.We have to look at our education system.Otherwise we
will forget the happy ways of living a life.In old days when their were no
electricity,technology without all these kinds of facilities people were living
a happy life.because they were socially educated.Facilities in your life will
never make you a happy life.Today every relationship is directly proportional to
the wealth.William deresiewicz said that" the true purpose of education is to
make minds,not careers " .we have to recheck our education system.so we can grow
new leaders not machines.
