Story may be true but it seems there something has been misplaced in the end about aforementioned reference of 1954,gold was not tola for Rs:10 only at that time,I think.Also it definitely seems an exaggeration about Rs:5,00000.this was a great amount and doesn't looks like possible as bribe in that era from a shaikh whether how much rich he was.anyhow nice written from author Thanks for share.
