Breaking records of Box Office leaders, The Avengers and Avatar, and having already banked $ 25,000,000 in pre-sales, The Dark Knight not only rose in the US, UK, Australia, Spain & nine other countries, but also rose above the rest in the Box Office. Having fans pouring in thousands, at 2500 locations (just in the US), all were anxious to see either the new villain, ‘Bane’, The Dark Knight, and protector of Gotham City - Christian Bale, the sassy Anne Hathaway as Catwoman and some because of the darker theme set this time round.

Produced by Warner Bros. & Legendary Pictures, Director, Christopher Nolan utilized IMAX cameras for an hour of the footage from the film. Hence, on a scale from 1 to 5, with 1 being little or no interest and 5 being significant interest in seeing it in a movie theater, it averaged 4.8 out of 5 for intent to see. It was also discovered that: 97% said the darker tone made them more interested in seeing the movie, 89% claimed the new villain Bane made them excited to see the film, 72% consider themselves fans of director Christopher Nolan, 62% said they’re excited by the fact that more than an hour of the film was shot in IMAX, and 58% said that Christian Bale was the actor they most preferred as Batman.

Observing a phenomenal response all over, The Dark Knight is yet to rise in Pakistan.
