Every country is unique. Even two countries that are extremely similar,
like the United States and Canada, or Australia and New Zealand are very
different. The difference in culture can be quite incredible, but it’s
not just the culture. It’s also the language, the traditions, and
everything else that goes along with it.
Today, however, we’re also going to be looking at more concrete
differences. For example, Nepal is the only country in the world with a
non-rectangular flag (Switzerland’s flag is a square, and squares are
rectangles). But some of these concrete differences will be a little bit
silly. To give you an example, the United States is the only country on
Earth where you have a “World Series” with only two countries in
attendance (the US and Canada). As you can see, this list will mix a
little bit of seriousness with a little bit of lightness and everything
in-between.
So, whether you travel a lot or not, we’re sure that you’ll appreciate
the differences between these countries. And if you haven’t traveled,
maybe we’ll give you some ideas here that will inspire your future
journeys! These are some things that you will only find in these
countries!
