Justice and judicial system of Pakistan

(syed ammar, karachi)

Meaning:
Doing the right thing in a right manner at a right place refers to justice in literal terms. As far as the judicial system is concerned, it is regarded as a system of courts that interpret and implement the written laws that ensures equal justice to all.

Justice in Islam:
Among those We have created there is a community who guide by the Truth and act justly according to it. (Surat al-A‘raf, 181)

if you do judge, judge between them justly. Allah loves the just. (Surat al-Maida, 42)

Justice in bible:
How blessed are those who keep justice, Who practice righteousness at all times! (Psalm 106:3)

You shall do no injustice in judgment; you shall not be partial to the poor nor defer to the great, but you are to judge your neighbor fairly (Leviticus 19:15)

Judicial system of Pakistan:
In pakistan the impact of justice is not very much satisfiied , it does not affect the rich and especially the VIPS , when a poor man goes to the court , he has to face many problems , as he cannot afford the private lawyer so his case is kept on pending , judge is compelled to delay the case because of poor investigation of corrupted policemen , sometimes evidence are not enough and sometimes witnesses have changed their statements due to some kind of pressure or they have sold their believes and faiths just for some money .When it comes to the rich and VIPs, our judicial system failed to take any action against them.

NAB (national accountability bureau), an organization which investigate the corruption cases, was also not able to catch the underground thieves and corrupted VIPs, but how ever from 2015 there is a notable progress in this organization and it has caught many big names , recently nab raids residence of Baluchistan finance secretary Mushtaq ahmed raisani and recovers 730m .

Some other organizations such as ISI, FIA are also working in our country , as time passes a lot improvement has been done in the performances of these agencies , but a lot has to be done to make the better standard judicial system of Pakistan . The process in courts is much slower that’s why military courts are established to take the decisions faster and to give punishments to the deserving ones.
