Education inequity In Pakistan

(Abul Asar , Karachi )

Education is referred to the holistic development of an individual that makes a person stand on its own in the society. Educational institutions seed the plant that produces the fruits of the barely credible future of any nation. The founder of Pakistan, Quaid e Azam said, ‘Students are the future of Pakistan’. Regrettably, it’s always disgraceful, disgusting and ashamed, when the nation suffers from discrimination and segregation of the society in the name of evil idols like racism, fragments and firqas. If one turns the golden pages of the history, the embarking truth reveals the worthwhile triumph on the ground of education and setting the mile stones of incredible achievements.

Critics must realize what role they play to flourish the quality of academics in their country instead of criticizing others work or even disparage the west for their educational policies.

Education departments in Pakistan either private or public must realize, do they meet the current and modern educational standards with reference to the educational social science studies. Howard Gardener of ‘The Howard University’ raised a theory of ‘The Multiple Intelligence’ that is VARK (Video, Audio, Reading and Body Kinesthetic). Its mournful to say, the best theory which the faculty know in the educational institutions of Pakistan is ‘ The Rot Learning Theory’.

In the last, one must fry its own fish rather than having others fish to fry, only then we may dream a prosperous, enlightened as well as educated Pakistan.
