This era of media and technology has advanced in almost every nook and corner of the world and the developments though also increasing day by day. All in all we can say that media is everywhere. TV, internet, radio, mobile phones etc. All grabbing our children’s attention which not only effecting their lives but also effecting their minds.

Nowadays children are spending more time on media than on their studies and physical activities which results in making them idle and weak. It is important for children to use their time in activities like reading, playing, studying and using their imagination to say it loud with their ideas and thinking. Where as it is also the responsibility of parents to look after their kids for using media and choose the right content for their children and avoid the harmful ones which may affect their innocent minds like vulgar songs, violence, fights or any other inappropriate content.

Excessive use of media may lead children to think in the same way as they learn by media; therefore parents should limit their time for media and keep an eye to monitor them for what they are watching. In addition with they should offer them educational media that is only designed for kids and develop their interest towards reading, playing outdoor, drawing, creativity and other healthy activities that is good for them.

Everything has its good and bad impact it is depend on the user how he/she make it used but media and children should be handled carefully as a child’s brain develop and learn during his growing years. So parents should keep an eye on their children when using media and technology.
