If we look into history we came
to know that there was a war on the base of religion after, scientific
revolution christanity power lessoned. There were two concepts 1. Christanity
said that God is the law maker , individual as well as collective affairs of the
society should be run by God , on the other side 2. Athiest were those who deny
existence of God , they said that matter can neither be created nor be destroyed
.
To stop the conflict between christanity and Athiest , as a solution SECULARISM
was introduced , the philosophy behind Secularism is that there would be
personal freedom , freedom of belief , freedom of ownership, freedom of creed ,
freedom of worship , freedom of action .. Freedom would be at individual level,
at individual level a person has a right to live as he/she want to live .. but
in collective affairs of society religion has no role ,people will make decision
, because collective affairs are those affairs of society in which people life
is affected .
But, if we look at the concepts which came out from secularism is parliament ,
democracy , capitalism .
Democracy is said to be a people's government , every one has a right to give
vote , government by the people , for the people , etc ,people will choose the
representatives who sit in the parliament to make laws . Parliament is a place
where laws are made ,the representatives sitting in the parliament pass the bill
according to their interest and became capitalist and make huge profits ,
because the one who has more power come in politics .It is ''SURVIVAL OF THE
FITTEST"
Eventually we can say that democracy promotes capitalism ,and these are the
concepts of secularism , it has brutal affects on the society , the result will
be starvation , inequality etc
SECULARISM is not a principle it is a compromise . Principle is something made
on ideology , values , base ..on that base the whole society varies .Compromise
is no principle ,it is a middle way between two extremes it has no rules ,
values , ethics . SECULARISM IS A COMPROMISE .
According to my view there can be two conditions either God exist or not
*If God exist then we should follow his rules in individual as well as
collective affairs .
*If God does't exist then we should not follow his rules in individual as well
as collective affairs .
Every country is known for its ideology , Pakistan came into being on the name
of ISLAM and ISLAM is the ideology of Pakistan not secularism ..
