Monthly Lehran is a trend
setter literary magazine of Punjabi language .I t started the journey of light
in March 1965.Dr.Syyed Akhter Hussain Akhter was its founder editor. He was a
great legend of Punjabi literature.Dr.Syyed Akhter Hussain worked hard for the
promotion of Punjabi language ,literature ,history ,culture and civilization for

the sad demise of Dr.Syyed Akhter Hussain Akhter (two year ago)his son and
daughter took the charge of Lehran.Lehran is setting standard in creative work
of Punjabi language .Due to the hard work of editorial board monthly Lehran
Lahore achieved significant research and critical acclaim .It has also achieved
widespread popularity ,success and trust.Lehran is popularizing new critical
approaches to literature and attractive style and discourse in modern Punjabi
literature .
The present issue of Lehran (June 2014) is full of attractive creative writings.
There are three research articles in this magazine .These research based
