The importance of commercial
education in Pakistan can not be overlooked. As we know, we are living in the
age of commercial and technical revolution, and for the progress of commerce and
industry we need many efficient and faculty trained workers. Therefore
commercial education is must for all the young men and women of our country. It
becomes all the more important views of the fact the although we have already
entered the field of commerce and industry, we don't have sufficient number of
trained commercial hands.
The chief object of commercial education is to acquaint our youths both with the
theoretical as well as practical aspects of all the matters relating to
commerce. The study of the theories and practice of commerce, trade and industry
enables a business man to see in their true colors. It equips him with knowledge
of tendencies which work in business market. The business community of Pakistan
could not realize the importance of commercial education for many years but,
thanks to the efforts of some intelligent commerce hands , now the importance of
commercial education i being realized everywhere.
The term Commercial Educational also includes practical training in the fields
of business and commerce. It also covers professional courses like costing,
marketing, income tax practice, and higher statistics. Lets hope that our
schools and colleges will give more and more attention to this need of the time.
Therefore, commercial training at the school level should be made compulsory far
all students. Additional facilities should be provided for commercial training
at the college and university level.
