“Seeking knowledge is
obligatory on every Muslim Man and woman.” (Al-Hadith)
Either every person gets this knowledge or not? What are the frustrations or
desperation which our students face in the field of study? , and do our students
get their goals after getting educated in this society or not? I want to discuss
all these things in my article.
The first thing I want to discuss in this article is that, there are many
students who cannot continue their study. Its cause is that either they get low
marks in matric or they suffer financial problems which enforce them to earn
money to meet their daily family and education expenses.
Some of these students are very intelligent and they reach intermediate level
and they cannot perform well according to the situations which he has been
facing during matric because there is a lot of difference among these two
levels. Here they become frustrated because they get through matriculation with
little hard work but intermediate requires some more efforts to succeed.
Another cause of their failure is misguidance in selection of their subjects of
interest. Every one gives his own opinion to guide them which differ from the
first one and this guidance becomes a source of conflict in their mind or in
other words they become double minded. In this way their interest in education
fades with the passage of time, and some time they do not take classes
seriously. Thus they do not perform according to the expectations of their
teachers and especially parents. They get again low marks in intermediate which
create problems in seeking admission in a university because their marks are not
so high to come on merit decided by university management.
Then they are forced to get admission in such an institution which is low in
ranking.
Now, they are completely frustrated and blame education system and institutions,
but they should keep in mind that a student’s self-hard work always brings fruit
they should pay heeds to study, after selecting a proper field in place of
criticizing educational system and departments.
The government should take step to meet this problem by establishing such an
institutions where these frustrated and misguided students can get help in study
and evaluate their capabilities. There should be a system to judge the interest
of such students. In foreign countries this system is available where
educational experts completely examine a child by giving him tasks relating to
different fields in order to check out his field of interest because a child
happily complete task of his interest. In this way, they identify a child’s
interest and they give him education according to the test result.
Another big cause of frustration in students is un equal education system in our
country. There are different categories in educational institutions as the
classes in society. There are government institutions, private institutions and
international institutions. The rich people select institution according to
desire while poor students are compelled to seek admission according to their
financial circumstances, in other words they select departments where expenses
are low. In these departments the educationists do not teach them seriously,
miss lecture and do not come punctually.
In this way the students get freedom and they also become irregular and less
hard working which results in frustration in the end.
Then the element of frustration in student is observed when they go in order to
seek a job in some government departments. Here they become frustrated when they
do not fulfill the requirements of the merit. Some time they fulfill all the
requirements but officers demand money to give them job. These types of
applicants try to get money by hook or by crook and when they fail to collect
money for bribery, then they are counted in the most frustrated persons in
society.
Now, what are steps that can be taken from government? What are the suggestions
that can be given from me? What should be there? Here is closing of my article
from some suggestions!
Education should be equal for all that is important to encourage students and
fulfill their education demands. There should be neat and clean system of
admission in educational institutions and those who are on merit they advised to
take admission. After this for job in different departments there should be
everything on merit no would be demand of money from applicants. In this way
that deserves for the post he/she must be appointed for this post.
Finally if governments takes some solid actions on these demands of every
student that I have explained then my country will be honorable in education
system and there would be frustration in students. In shaa Allah I believe that
we will feel proud on our education system. All this article have been written
