Every religion has had the
assets of its remarkable and prominent personalities. So is the case with our
beautiful religion viz., Islam.
Our four caliphs are among those persons who were declared ‘stars’ by our
Prophet PBUH.
Hazrat Abu Bakar Siddiq’s one quality was his speaking the truth. He at one
stage donated all his belongings, when asked from the people to contribute. This
mean person is included in the generation of this great man.
Hazrat Umar Farooq RTA was a brave and straight-forward person. He was said to
be the next prophet, if GOD would have decided to continue His act of sending
prophets in the world. These two caliphs have the honour to take rest by the
Supreme Leader Prophet Muhammad Sallaho Taala Alahe Waalehi Wasallam.
Hazrat Usman Ghani RTA was a great generous person. He has the dignity of
marrying the daughters of Prophet PBUH one after the other. Thus he is called
‘Zun Noreen’. His peaceful mind did not let him to fight against the opponent
Muslims and this resulted in his tragic testimony. Keeping in view all those
circumstances, Doctor Israr Ahmad wrote a book on the event, describing his
testimony more tragic than the sad incident of Syedna Husain RTA.
Hazrat Ali Murtaza RTA was the fourth and last caliph of Khilafat-e-Rashidah. He
was very intelligent man and was rightly declared as the gate-way of knowledge
by Paighambar-e-Azam PBUH. He was also the son-in-law of the latter Personality.
One of his sayings is, “ Momin is not that person whose gathering is pious, but
momin is that person whose loneliness is pious”.
