5 effective ways to study and manage your time

when you need to find the time to study it is important to find ways to fit that into your life. Here are five effective ways to study and manage your time more effectively.

Prioritise.
If you're studying a huge subject you need to decide what are the most important areas that you need to concentrate on. Find out what subjects are asked frequently and steady old exam papers so that you concentrate on those parts of the subject which are most likely to be in your exams.

Delegate.
When you're studying you can't do everything so decide what you can delegate somebody else. Maybe this will mean paying somebody to do some of your routine tasks such as housework or gardening, alternatively you could just let this go during the period of time when you're studying.

Be more efficient.
If you start to notice how you spend your day you are very likely to find that there are more efficient ways to get things done more quickly. So work out how to do similar tasks consecutively and to make other tasks work much more smoothly. When you do this you will be amazed at how much more you can fit into your day and therefore how much more studying you can also do.

Work with a buddy.
It can even in motivating to work with someone else who is also studying the same subject as you. Even if what they are doing is not identical that has some similarities you can encourage each other to keep going and also have a sympathetic person to talk to about any challenges you may have about the subject you're studying.

Take time to relax.
Sometimes people think that they have to use every minute of the day to study but in fact it will be much more effective if you work hard for maybe an hour or two and then take a break for an hour or so. During this break it's a good idea to get some fresh air, take some exercise and eat a healthy meal and just get away from the subject of your studying. When you do this you will return refreshed to your books because your brain will be recharged and your energy increased. When you take regular breaks you'll find that you will feel much more motivated to continue and get all the work and studying done that you wish to do.
