People in our country are more
interested to celebrate western days then respect one another; they celebrate
different days with high celebrations and waste of a lot of money through
different decorations and parties. Women’s day is also one day from them which
people celebrate with much enthusiasm, but next day they forgot the value of
women’s and come in routine.
Woman can be a wife, a mother, a daughter and can be a sister. We all have to
respect these faces of women. But in our country mostly people especially in
remote areas do not respect women’s such faces. And treat them as a servant of
the house. In city or we can say that in so called educated areas we can say
urban areas or cities women are also not save as some people on road or on the
ways of offices and educational institutions do not respect girls and harass
them with different bawdy activities.
This is not much but also other women’s violation happening in country which is
celebrating so called day of a women a “women’s day”. Women or girls get
kidnapped and rapped by boys or men in cities it is happening more than in other
areas or rural areas and it is happening in daily routine. In some areas newly
married girls are burned by their in-laws due to dowry. This is not end but also
many violence and atrocity are happening with women.
In my opinion it is totally wastage of time and money in celebrating those days
which increase some one’s respect only once in a year while in reality these
days does not mean for people. So it is better to waste money as well as time to
do some actions against the violation of women’s right.
