Give it to him FIRST

(Shahzad Shameem, Abbottabad)

Ikrama (rz), Harith (rz) and Suhail (rz) were close friends who fought with the Prophet (peace and Blessings be upon him)’ for the cause of Islam. On this particular day the battle had been raging fiercely since dawn. None of the Companions had eaten or drunk for many hours; still, they continued fighting as if nothing could vanquish them.

Ikrama (rz), Harith (rz) and Suhail (rz) were never far from each other. When Ikrama (rz) saw that Suhail (rz) was in trouble, he would cover him and fend off the enemy. When Suhail (rz) spotted an attack upon Harith (rz), he would lunge at the aggressor. And so it continued hour after hour. It seemed as if the enemy would never give in.

Ikrama (rz) felt himself weaken but he forced himself to fight on. Harith (rz) and Suhail (rz) also were losing strength and their reflexes were slowing down. Finally, each one in turn was wounded. Ikrama (rz) received a blow in the head; Suhail (rz) an arrow in the chest; and Harith (rz) was losing strength due to severe gash in the side. One by one they collapsed on the battlefield, panting from thirst and exhaustion.

The water bearer, whose job it was to seek out the wounded, made his way to Ikrama (rz) as fast as he could. As Ikrama (rz) aised himself up on his elbow to take a drink he spotted his friend Suhail (rz) lying wounded beside him. ‘Take water to Suhail (rz) first’ he gasped, and turned away his head.

So the water bearer went to Suhail (rz) with the mug of fresh water. But Suhail (rz) had just recognised Harith’s (rz) voice crying out for water and his heart went out to him.

He shook his head as the mug of water reached his lips. ‘Take it to Harith (rz) first’ he murmured.

But as the water bearer reached Harith (rz), it was too late. Harith (rz) was lying lifeless on the ground. Turning quickly, the water bearer ran back to Suhail (rz), but Suhail (rz) in those few moments had passed away. Turning to Ikrama(rz), the water bearer pressed the mug to his lips, but it was no use, Ikrama (rz) had been the first of the three friends to die.

And so it was that in their last moments on earth these three Companions of the Blessed Prophet died with no thought for themselves in their concern for their brothers needs.

Kia aisa character paida karnay k liye, Quraan ki Taleem say faida nahi uthaya ja sakta.

Akhir 50000 madrassay and million schools what sort of syllabus, education, Taleem and Training they are giving?

Do someone has to come for correction in our schools, colleges, universities and madarass syllabus?
