Here are 10 weird and wonderful facts from around the world that I found rather bizarre and amusing.

1) Hong Kong's Robot Kitchen

The owners of a new restaurant Robot Kitchen, located in a Hong Kong shopping mall, have caused a commotion everywhere owing to the unique waiting staff that work there.

The owners have claimed that Robot Kitchen is the first restaurant in the world to have fully operating robots wait on their customers. The robots can recognise different patterns in our voices and they can also take customer's meal orders.
The meal orders are taken via infrared technology through to the kitchen. Once the meal orders are cooked the robot waiters help to serve the meals to their customers.

2) Egypt's Pyramid shift

The Pyramids in Cairo, Egypt, where built 5,000 years ago by Ancient Egyptian workers who carried the stones, which where around 2 ½ tons each in weight.

Due to the movement of the Earth's crust, the Pyramids are said to have shifted around 2 ½ mile (4km) south of were the workers originally built them.

3) New Hampshire's (England, UK) candy store

A candy store in Littleton, New Hampshire claims to have the longest counter measuring a thrilling 111ft (34m) long. The candy store, run by Jim Alden is said to have 700 different jars of sweets laid out on a three tiered display.

4) Moscow's pizza city

The residence of Russia's capital city Moscow, love their pizza so much that they went a cooked and pieced together a giant map of their city made entirely out of pizza. The pizza city was almost 20ft in diameter (6m) and had sculptures of Moscow's main landmarks, including the Kremlin. They made these sculptures from melted cheese and placed them on top of the giant pizza.

5) Florida's tiny Post Office.

Ochopee, Florida is know to be home to the worlds smallest Post Office. Measuring in at only 62 sq ft, the former tool shed is around the size of a children's playhouse.

6) Tires, tires and more tires - Canada's finest

Located in Bancroft, Ontario, Canada is a 100ft (30m) standing home made out of car tires. The creators Chuck and Pat Potter built the home on the side of a hill using around 1,200 car tires.
They use solar panels to gain their heat.

7) Two clocks, two times, is Malta confused?

No apparently the Devil is.
Churches all over Malta have two working clocks placed upon their walls, both showing different times. So they say, this is to confuse the Devil with what real time the next Holy service is.

8) Never judge a book by its cover in Hawaii

If you measured Hawaii's Mauna Kea mountain from it's base on the Pacific Ocean right up to it's peak, it would actually be taller than the worlds 'claimed' tallest mountain, Mount Everest. This therefore makes Mauna Kea the tallest mountain in the world. The volcanic peak is 33,474ft (10,203m) from the sea bed and only 13,794ft (4,205m) is above the sea level.

9) A lot of mud in Scotland

In Dunoon, Scotland (UK) 2006, there took place the first ever Swamp Soccer Tournament. Originally from Finland this filthy soccer game is fast becoming a worldwide hit.

10) Bottle, bottle, who's got the bottle?

Apparently Edouard T. Arsenault does. In 1980 the first very fragile home was built on Cap - Egmont, Prince Edward Island in Canada.

It is made from glass bottles and still stands today. Another two followed that in 1981 and 1982 all together using around 25,000 bottles
