A Blood Revolution or Reforms

(Syed Ali Raza, Lahore)

I m Chairman of a political party and have already conveyed my thoughts to Law enforcement institutions and Resourceful persons via letters and books.
Being a patriotic Pakistani, due to devastating country’s social and economic conditions, I get depressed and agonic, when I see insufficient Law and order conditions, people are dying helpless, there is high rise in prices on daily basis, Corruption is like octopus engulfed whole society.

Keeping in view all these conditions, we are sitting silent like deaf and dumb. As the masses are suppressed and harassed by their imposed fate, they seem miserable on bus stops, roads, parks and on public spots. Now I feel, there seems a thunderstorm to appear, this storm may not be a blood revolution. I often get surprised on Literates and real intellects who used to come on roads for their values and rights but today they seem silent and stunned.. Being a common person, I want warn authorities to execute proper constitutional Reforms otherwise nobody would stop the emergence of massacre. I want to give some suggestions regarding these reforms.

➢ The power should be decentralized specially in political parties so that few inherited families should not propagate or violate national cause.
➢ No party is supposed to appear in Elections more than three times.
➢ No one should be appointed on a seat or on designation more than two times.
➢ There should be a criteria for political parties that chairman should not be elected on prime slot in more than two times and next chairman should not be from same family in order to avoid inheritor politics
➢ There is dire need of Justice’, Pakistan needs a superior court named
Court of justice, all issues regarding Government institutions and preliminary issues should be settled in Court of Justice.
➢ There should be impartial and clean mode of justice, no one would have to effect on court decisions.
➢ In Senate and National Assembly the common practice is wrong use of power, it should be eliminated
➢ Senator selection should be through public not from National Assembly majority.
➢ There should be code of conduct via final constitutional reforms.

Pakistan Political leaders, as a class profess the commitment to parliamentary system, but in practice violate every principle on which it rests. In parliamentary Government the president symbolizes the authority of state but independent Judges adjudicates prime minister exercises it, same as the Majority party in the parliament make the laws but they are uniformly administrated by neutral Civil servants ad disputes arising.

Only Supreme Court has the power to strike down the law if it is found to negate the constitution.

In this structure where the power and authorities are totally devastated, it will be hard to determine who, at any level, is to be held accountable for this anarchy. I request to determine the path of proceeding so that violation and aggression among the nation would be stopped.
