Avoidance of undue language

The tongue is a very small and tiny part of human body however it has an important feature in the human life. Any slightly misbalance of the language can grow certain mischief / faction and with this not only other people are affected but the user of the language also faces the negative effects. No one likes the loose talking man and majority people keep themselves off and he is not respected by anyone but sweet and soft spoken man is honored by everyone. Such person gets valuable respect in the society and in each place he is regarded with respect and honor. If such person is a trader his business flourishes well. If he is a public servant his officers, subordinates and colleagues all are happy with him and in each place and corner he gets admiration.

Some sayings of the Holy Prophet about the language are given below:-

1. “The Muslim who gives guarantee of caring of the language I guarantee him of Heaven”
2. “Loose talker and bearer of uncovered / undressed language could never be Momin”
3. The Muslim is that person who cares the other Muslim with his hand and language.
4. The worst person amongst Muslim is who is isolated by the people due to his loose talking
5. Who keeps silence gets freedom.

It is recalled that the meaning of keeping silence is that only good and soft language is expressed else silence is observed viz the tongue is obstructed by loose talking, uncivilized and loose jokes, meaningless gossip, detraction, lie, back-biting, curse, ill-criticizing and unnecessary chatting that may cause of restlessness, disturbance and disappointment.

If we contemplate thoughtfully we would come to the point that disturbance, battling and fighting are taken place due to ill-language. An intellectual quotes:

“It is man’s tongue which ascends him or otherwise descends him into the dark well.”

A well renowned American writer has written a book titled “Sweets words have magic or enchantment” that leads to language, got popularity and a lot of benefits were grasped by people with this book as they got opportunity to mend themselves in connection with use of language. The people who were leading failure life prior to reading this book their lives got fortunes and they succeeded in all sections of life after reading and using the tongue uprightly. Because they found the facts that the cause of countless failure is the wrong language itself - the door of success is opened with the positive use of the language and the failure is altered into success.

The tongue is the enormous blessing granted by Allah Almighty but it is proved favor only when it is used appropriately and righteously as instructed by Allah and His Prophet – opposing its wrong use may cause to vulnerable. The person who uses cursing language is become himself a pest and nuisance for the whole society. If any body is not in a position to support a poor person it is essential for him to express only sympathetic language causing of hope for him as expression of good wishes gives strength contrary use of negative language grows irritation, hatred and rage which creates severe and vital consequences and disturbs the whole society. Indeed it is man’s tongue which makes the people friends or enemy.
