While looking for an answer to
a question from a friend, I was surprised to see that one of the legend
Pakistani player Inzamam-ul-Haqin his second ODI on 24 November 1991 (40-over
match) played at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad vs West Indies in Pakistan ODI Series
- 3rd ODI .he opened the innings for Pakistan .
After winning the toss Pakistan chose to field first and WI scored 204/5 in the
allotted 40 over’s. The interesting thing which prompted me to write this
article was that inzamam bowled three over’s in this match and interestingly got
the precious wicket of Brain Lara on the first ball he bowled in his ODI career

This was only the second ODI played by him.
He was the fifth player to do this at that time and second Pakistani after
Shahid Mahboob.
