Pakistan Independence Day as We Lost Real Path

(Areeba Abrar, Karachi)

Pakistan got independence on 14 august 1947, the father of this nation is Quid e Azam Mohhamad ali Jinnah who is also known as (baba e qoum) who fought for the nation’s freedom along with many strong leaders such as Liaqat ali khan, Fatima Jinnah etc. For this nation many people lost their lives and were martyred, Muslim leaders fought endlessly to accomplish their separate homeland. India and Pakistan migration is also recorded to be the biggest migration in history due to which many innocent lives were lost, many people left their homes, properties and even families and came to Pakistan with nothing but hope, Hope that they will now be able to live with peace and practice their religion with complete freedom and won't be under the oppression of neither British nor Hindus, and won't have to worry about being minorities anymore. The main agenda for the creation of this nation was for Muslims to live freely and happily without any ill treatment from other religions.

PAKISTAN TODAY: unfortunately, Jinnah died only a year after the independence due to a fatal disease, and after that Pakistan couldn’t get any brave, strong and honest leader. Today Pakistan has high poverty and illiteracy rate. Misgovernment and corruptions, due to inflation in economy many people have lost their jobs causing increase in illegal activities such as burglary and snatching. Due to violence, kidnapping and attacks it is very difficult for people to survive in Pakistan especially for women. The corrupted politicians also have a big hand in these problems, due to closing of industries and high unemployment rate, Pakistan is turning from developing country to under developed country. Pakistan's passport is also recorded to be the 4Th worst in the world with access to only 31 countries without visa.

However, every country has their positive and negative side and so does Pakistan. Pakistan had a very diverse culture including Indian, Persian, central Asian, south Asian, afghani and western Asian influence with their own authentic food, cloths, custom, dress and music. Pakistan also has many beautiful sites and tourist attractions such as Naran, shogran, hunza valley sawat etc. The beauty of these places is absolutely breath taking. Pakistan is also known for its hospitable and kind people who welcome their guest with absolute generosity. Pakistan also has the biggest ambulance system by the Edhi foundation as well as the first Islamic country to attain nuclear power and Islamabad is known to be the second most beautiful capital in the world. Pakistan has the second largest and oldest salt mine and has the only fertile desert in the world. Pakistan has a great potential, only if the people and leaders of this country work hard enough, stricken the law and remove corruption only then maybe this country could become what Jinnah and the other brave leaders before wished for. On this auspicious day of Pakistan's 75 birthday all of us celebrate it with great and enthusiasm and love, if we carry on the same attitude throughout the year our nation can also become the best.
