Pakistan is going through very
tough time these days. Besides lack of law and order we have financial crises in
our country. We have reached such a stage that there are rumours of Pakistan
going bankrupt.
Seeing such dismal scenario Pakistani youth is quite depressed. For them they
have no future in Pakistan. Professional degree does not guarantee you a job. So
in these bleak circumstances, the question is how can we inculcate spirit of
Nationalism in our youth?
First of all Pakistan is our country where we can live freely. Ask those who
cannot live their lives according to their own choice. Recent incident of Muslim
family burned alive by Hindu fundamentalists in India is clear example how
minorities become an easy target. This is not an isolated event. We have
atrocities committed in Palestine and Kashmir. Also we know what is happening in
Iraq and Afghanistan in the name of so called war against terrorism.
So I admit there is lack of spirit of nationalism in our youth but we must
remember Pakistan is our country. It is the only place in the world where people
will not treat us as second-class citizens. We have fundamental rights
guaranteed in the constitution. So despite such critical situation, one should
see light at the end of the tunnel because Pakistan is our homeland and we are
recognized as Pakistanis all over the world.
