ECC Approves 85 Crore Rupees For Two Flyovers

Recent approval of 85 crore
rupees by Economic Co-operation Committee (ECC) to start two projects for
building two flyovers in Karachi at Malir 15 and Malir Halt is an appreciable
act!
As population is increasing day by day and so is the traffic, the flyovers after
being built will surely facilitate people of Karachi to control over the flow of
traffic! When the projects start, difficulties in abundance will engulf the
people till the completion of the projects because traffic flow will be greatly
disturbed during the projects and people will face inconvenience due to daily
traffic jam!
In this regard, I want to suggest the concerned authorities that a route map
must be prepared for private and public transport! Since people through public
transport have to go to different areas, the public transport should just be
allowed to pass through the same route but private transport or vehicles
including motorbikes, cars etc, which come from National Highway to Shahrae
Faisal should be bound to take the route from Quaidabad, Korangi etc, and in
this way, private vehicles could approach to Shahrae Faisal by this parallel
route. The people will have to bear a little inconvenience due to other route
but it would be rather better to take this route than to be stuck in traffic jam
at Malir 15 and Malir Halt due to the projects!
