A SHAMEFUL ACT BY PROMINENT ACTRESS

She was a beautiful lady, leaving for Karachi from Islamabad. At Benazir Bhutto Airport Islamabad, security force recovered 4 bottles of champagne from her luggage during checking. To her great surprise, the security force confiscated the bottles and stopped her to go to Karachi.

Now the time took turn and it was the time to surprise for the force when a few of former and present governmental officials that are considered to be high-ranked, started to make phone calls consecutively to save the lady and the security force had to set her free within 2 hours. She was not an ordinary woman but she is known as the most prominent and beautiful actress and the coordinator member of All Pakistan Muslim League, Atiqa Odho.

How pity it is that Atiqa Odho so innocently told ASF officials that she had previously been taking champagne but none stopped her before! One thing is continuously pinching in my mind whether that was an illegal act or not! Why wasn’t she arrested? What would happen if an ordinary man was found in this situation?! Surely he was strictly entertained and sentenced! Is Pakistani law applicable on common people?!

Atiqa Odho joined All Pakistan Muslim League and the leader of the party is Pervez Musharraf who pushed Pakistan into the war of outsiders and today the whole nation is the victim of terrorism! It is on record that Pervez Musharraf made his first speech to his party after drinking wine so how could Atiqa Odho leave behind! She also adopted Musharraf’s way and found guilty with champagne! This incident shows that our leaders and actors are ethically going wrong!

People usually make actors their ideals and Atiqa Odho is one of them but unfortunately she played with the love and emotions of the people. It is said that we should not interfere in other persons’ affairs and surely it is true! If Atiqa Odho is limited to her home or family, we have no right to raise our voice against her but when an ideal personality does an illegal act open day outside, he/ she is considered to be responsible for the act whereas Atiqa Odho did the same act! Not only Odho but all those who forced ASF to leave her are guilty and are spotted on the law and I with the whole nation condemn it!
