On the one side, the continuous & consecutive fulfillment of the US directed
assignments by our vision-less, corrupt & incompetent government have put the
whole nation in the dire confusion & bitter feeling of perplexity. The
irresponsible & immature behavior of our government, the political leadership &
the army on all the current issues is ridiculous & embarrassing. Every one among
our ruling fraternity seems totally unaware of the complexity & sensitivity of
the situation in the country, the interests of the nation & of the problems that
a common person is facing or else deliberately pretends so to avoid the targeted
intervention. Hence resentment in the nation over this bitter avoidance of the
very main issues by the rulers is festering up & no positive progress is being
clued anywhere. To get more & more political benefits & to score more & more
political points on every issue irrespective of whether it’s in the interest of
the nation & how to tackle with it has become the sole job of our political
hierarchy. The shameful political point scoring by different political entities
on the Shahid Afridi’s issue is right under the process & in front of all. Now
it seems that the sentence, what’s in the interest of the nation & what’s not,
has become totally meaningless for the political leadership of our country. On
the other hand, the day to day dire security situation, bomb blasts & suicide
attacks which in turn are the consequences of the dullness & incapability of the
past & current government fraternities, has led the common person to live in
uncertain circumstances & die every moment. Failure from each direction is extra
sufficient to mayhem the mind of an ordinary individual.
Failure of the government crosses its limit when we hear about the very basic
issue of the disrespect of our sovereignty by the outer forces & no stern &
courageous response right from here side for its restoration & security. After
every misconduct by the outer forces, few strong worded statements by the
government side are released through the media not because of to show the sole
anger or worries or deep patriotism in their inside over the issue but only to
score political points & that’s all. Establishment of no staunch position of our
government still over this very serious & complicated issue is shameful &
astonishing. In fact, same like the outer forces, our own rulers also trace back
to the foreign countries up to some extent & so have no so much of respect for
the country in their hearts. They think they are not supposed to live here,
everything of them is safe in the foreign so why to worry, no need to worry but
just to merry.
Our government is behaving in the way because of their feudal mindset of
complying with instructions issued by US as they thinks it’s the only safest &
suitable way to retain power & government & in this race they have even
forgotten about the very basic issues such as restoration of sovereignty, the
dire challenges that our country is facing right now & the problems of a common
man which is their sole duty. The very high position of power which our rulers
have achieved through the vote of the common people are now seems not serious to
provide any facilitation for the common but to keep only the outer gods happy.
To take every decision in the interest of those forces & to irrespectively
ignore our own interests have become obligatory to our rulers today. The
objective of the US to defang nuclear Pakistan through their covert activities &
their irregular wars & the recent disclosure of this fact by the Iranian
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad proves the obviousness & authenticity of US
intentions. The penultimate & the most herculean stage of this irregular war has
already been staged by the US with aim to publically reveal the failures &
incapability of Pak army & other security forces in maintaining peace, harmony &
law & order situation in the country in order to declare Pakistan an unstable
country which is unable to secure its nuclear assets. The last step would be the
issuance of a notification regarding the denuclearization of Pakistan by the UNO.
Pakistan will have no other option left but to follow. This is a clear fact but
unfortunately many of our leaders & some intellectuals are still not ready to
accept this.
Moreover, The current decision of our government to stage a regular military
operation against the so called terrorists & miscreants (which were created,
trained & openly backed & supported ideologically, financially & logistically by
the same countries against the Soviet forces) in the North Waziristan Agency
after the strong aspirations & intentions of US over the issue expressed by
Hillary Clinton & Mike Millen during their recent visit to Islamabad is
completely revealing the truth of my words. What will be the consequences of
this operation? Would it be in the interest of the country? Can we afford such a
herculean military operation with the sinking financial condition of the
country? It seems our government has nothing to do with all such ridiculous
questions.
For me, it’s also pertinent to mention here that the consequences of this
operation would be very severe, far more critical even beyond the expectations
of the government. Keeping in view the geography & the complexity & sensitivity
of the situation in the NWA, the country will have to suffer a lot in the
response of this operation. The people of NWA have already suffered a lot on the
name of the so called war on terror. The day to day drone attacks have wounded
them a lot. Dozens of the innocent citizens of the NWA have lost their precious
lives in the drone attacks. Their wounds are fresh yet, they are neither safe
from militants nor from forces fighting against the militancy. They are confused
who between these two is actually sincere in fighting for their rights & the
prevalence of peace & harmony in the area. Deployment of regular military
operation in such a critical condition would cause more hatred among the
peaceful hearts of these people for the government & nothing else would be
achieved.
The history is repeating him here, but unfortunately we have never learned
anything from it. In the current scenario, where on the one side our country is
on the verge of bankruptcy, strong hatred among the provinces is prevailing we
should learn something from the past history. We shouldn’t let any other
terrible incident such like the separation of East Pakistan to happen. Our
government need to be very serious prior to make any decision or table any
policy to avert such catastrophic disasters. They need to put every pace on
ground after thinking for one thousand times upon it. They should vow to take
all decisions courageously & correctively & keeping in view the country’s
interests & refuse all the foreign pressures & demands which are against our
interests. The government should also review the decision of the military
operation in the NWA keeping in mind the interests of the nation, the
catastrophic consequences that will arise right after the conduction of the
operation & not to accept any threat or pressure from any country of the world.
We the Pakistani nation is right here at your beck & call. Insha Allah peace
will soon prevail in the country.
