Ingredients
  1. 1/2kg mutton (bakray ka gosht)
  2. oil as desired
  3. 4 large cloves of garlic (lehsan)
  4. 1 table spoon grated ginger(adrak)
  5. 1 cup Greek style yogurt(dahi)
  6. 3/4 tea sp salt
  7. 3/4 tsp red chili powder
  8. 1/3 tsp turmeric powder(haldi)
  9. 5-6 green & red chilies
  10. 2 large tomatoes
  11. 1/2 tsp GARAM MASALA POWDER BY BAJIAS COOKING
  12. water 1 cup
Method
  • Blend garlic with 1/2 cup of water.
  • Put meat and blended garlic in wok (karahi) and add rest of the 1/2 cup water and cover and let it cook on medium heat. keep stirring occasionally.
  • Mean while slice the tomatoes and grate the ginger.
  • When the water in the wok is dried up add oil,tomatoes, salt, turmeric powder & chili powder.
  • Stir and cover and cook, keep checking and stirring occasionally.
  • Meat is cooked in garlic water earlier and now it will be cooked with tomatoes.
  • When the meat appears roasted, its color becomes darker, and oil is separated add yogurt.
  • Stir, when its water is dried up and gravy (masala) looks thickened add the gram masala and fresh coriander and sliced green chilies.
