Ingredients
  1. 1/2 kg mutton
  2. 1/2 kg tomatoes
  3. 2 onions, sliced
  4. 2 tbsp karahi masala
  5. 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  6. 1 tsp red chilli crushed
  7. 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  8. 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  9. 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  10. 1 tsp salt
  11. 2 tbsp oil
  12. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  13. 4-5 green chillies
  14. Coriander chopped to garnish
  15. 3-4 tbsp ginger, to garnish
Method
  • Boil mutton and keep its stock aside.
  • Grind half tomatoes with half cup of mutton stock and cook this puree with 1 tbsp oil and add 2tbsp karahi masala. When oil separates then keep it aside.
  • Heat remaining oil in a pan and add sliced onions, when it turns golden colour add chopped tomatoes and when tomatoes are tender then add turmeric powder , red chilli crushed and garlic paste cook it for 2-3 minutes. Add mutton, ginger, coriander powder, cumin powder.
  • Now add tomato puree, green chillies, ginger, garam masala and black pepper. Add 1/2 cup water and cook covered for 10 minutes on low flame. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve it with naan or kulcha.
