Ingredients
  1. • Beef steaks 1 kg
  2. • Yogurt 1 cup
  3. • Mustard oil 1 cup
  4. • Mint 1 bunch (chopped)
  5. • Onions 1 (finely cut)
  6. • Black peppercorns 6
  7. • Green cardamoms 8
  8. • Green chillies 4 (chopped)
  9. • Lemons 4
  10. • Whole red chillies 10
  11. • Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
  12. • Raw papaya paste 3 tbsp
  13. • Ginger paste 2 tbsp
Method
  • 1. Roast red chillies, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, cardamoms, black pepper, grams and poppy seeds on a griddle and grind.
  • 2. Pound steaks with mallet. Apply yogurt, ginger and raw papaya and set aside for 1/2 an hour.
  • 3. Heat 1/2 cup of mustard oil and fry onions until golden.
  • 4. Add marinated steaks and fry. Leave to cook over low flame.
  • 5. When water starts to dry, add mustard oil, mint, lemon juice and green chillies.
  • 6. Cook on dum for 15 minutes.
  • 7. Serve delicious Bihari Steaks hot.

If I use this recipe of bihari steaks, can I also add a packet of bihari masala in this ingredients? Usually when I use packet the boti in the steaks are totally decompose, some times it breaks and drop in the coal.

This is the first time I see that bihari steaks are also the dish, I think this is a new recipe which I will definitely try in this bakra eid because we have a large quantity of meat available to make practice.

Can I mix the mustard oil, green chillies and mint in to the lemon syrup to put it in to the sticks because it make an easy way to use all the ingredients which is definitely good to increase the taste.
