More Info	The University of Central Punjab (UCP), located in Lahore, Pakistan, is a private sector university. The history of University of Central Punjab can be traced back to 1985, when the first institution under the auspices of the Islamic Commerce Educational Society was established in Lahore by the name of Punjab College of Commerce. The University management realized that to develop high standards of performance and quality education, University Statutes, Regulations and allied procedures should be correctly formulated and uniformly followed in all Faculties of the University. The support and general staff in the University are just as important to its success as the academic staff. Therefore, these groups needed to be brought together to form a consolidated team to seamlessly coordinate all activities on campus. The University focused on these areas soon after its inception, adopted a fast track approach to meet its statutory obligations in letter and spirit.
