Ingredients
  1. one cup all purpose flour-3/4 cup suger 1i/2 tsp baking powder- 1/2 tsp salt - 1/4 cup butter softened- three eggs separetes-1/3 orange juice - 1/4 tsp cream of tarter- 1i/2 cups strawberries slice and vanilla ice cream and one cup whipped cream
Method
  • sift together flour , suger, baking powder and salt. Place in a large bowl and make a well in the center. Add butter egg yolks and orange juice beat with a spoon until smooth. In a mixing bowl beat egg whites and cream of tarter if you dont have cream of tarter its ok do not add. Gradually add batter folding gently until blended.Pour into an ungreased 9 inch =5 inch pan Bake at 325 preheat oven for 40 minutes check with fork if done take it out from oven and let it cool . remove from pan slice into 12 pieces Top each slice with berries and ice cream and whipped cream.serve with coffee or tea.
