Ingredients
  1. 1 lb. potatoes
  2. 2 green chillis
  3. 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  4. oil for frying
  5. 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  6. salt to taste
  7. 1 teaspoon sugar
  8. lemon juice
  9. FOR THE GARNISH
  10. Few coriander leaves
Method
  • Cube and boil potatoes. Chop chillis and coriander leaves. Fry mustard seeds in a little oil and when they stop spluttering put in the turmeric. Stir once and then quickly add potatoes, chillis and salt. Fry for 1-2 minutes then add sugar and lemon juice. Fry for a few minutes to brown. Serve garnished with coriander leaves.
