  1. 2 cups Wheat flour
  2. 1/2 cup Flour
  3. 1/2 cup Semolina
  4. 3 tbsp Oil
  5. 1 tsp Chili powder
  6. 1 tsp Carom seeds
  7. 1/2 tsp Salt
  8. for deep frying Oil.
Method
  • Soak 1/2 cup semolina in 1/2 cup of hot water for 10 minutes,
  • in a large bowl sieve together, 2 cups wheat flour and 1/2 cup flour, add 1/2
  • tsp salt and the soaked semolina, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp carom seeds, mix
  • well and knead with warm water to form into a smooth dough, knead until smooth,
  • cover with napkin and leave it for 30 minutes, make into balls, roll into puris
  • and deep fry.
