Ingredients
  1. 3 cup Rice
  2. 1 kg Mince
  3. 1 cup Chickpeas
  4. 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  5. 4 Lemons
  6. 1 bunch Chopped mint
  7. 6 Green chilies
  8. 4 Onion chopped
  9. 1 cup Yogurt
  10. 1 cup Hot milk
  11. pinch Yellow Food Color
  12. 1 tbsp White vinegar
  13. 1 tsp Black cumin
  14. 6 Small cardamoms
  15. 6 Whole black pepper
  16. 1 tbsp Red chili powder
  17. to taste Salt
  18. 1 cup Oil / Ghee
Method
  • Wash the chickpeas with half boiled water and then boil them. When the lentil is cooked then drain the water. Put garlic ginger paste, salt, red chili powder and cook until the water dries and boil the rice. While boiling the rice add some mint leafs, whole green chilies, black pepper, 4 small cardamoms, black cumin, 1tbsp white vinegar and half boil the rice and drain the water. Fry the onions to golden brown in oil, when the onions are fried, add small cardamom, mint leafs and some green chilies. Separate the onions from oil. Add half of the onion oil in mince and half in the lentil. In lentil add yogurt, lemon juice, mint and green chilies. Grease the rice pan and make a layer of rice followed by lentil and then mince. Repeat the process and mix food coloring in milk and spread it over. In the end add fried onions, lemon juice and put it on a tawa and allow to cook. Cook at high flame for 10 minutes and then turn the flame low. When steam is formed then take it off the flame.
