Ingredients
  1. 1 medium-sized chicken (disjointed)
  2. 250 grams onions
  3. 2 piece ginger
  4. 6 flakes garlic
  5. 250 grams curd (beaten)
  6. 2 tbisps garam masala salt and chilli powder to taste
  7. 1/4 Isp saffron strands
  8. 1 tbisp milk
  9. a few pistachios (halved) silver or gold foil
  10. 150 grams butter
  11. 100 grams almonds
  12. 100 grams cream
  13. 2 rings canned pineapple
  14. 1 cherry
Method
  • Grind the onion, ginger and garlic to a paste and mix into the curd, along with all the spices and salt. Mix well into the chicken and set aside for 6 hours. Dissolve the saffron in hot milk for 5 minutes and crush to a paste. In another dish, cover the pistachios with foil. Now heat the butter and add the chicken mixture, along with the almonds. Cover tight and cook till the chicken is tender and the gravy thick. Remove from fire, and into a serving dish. Cover with cream and sprinkle saffron all over. Place pineapple rings on top. Place at the center of each pineapple ring. Garnish with pistachios covered with foil.
