Dear Mudassar,
Yes in most of the universities the option is open, but let me tell you that BSIT or BSCS degrees require a good grasp on Mathematics. So you will have to put a little bit of extra efforts towards basic mathematics as your background is that of biology.
However, for if you are interested in Computer Sciences, then better option for you is to go for Bio-Informatics degree program. Its a combination of Computer Sciences and Biology. The field is emerging and has good scope. Moreover, it would much more beneficial and interesting for you.
