Question (Total Replies: 4) Monday, June 07 2010 Aisha (Student) Matriculation / O Level O'levels karachi AOA! I just completed my O'levels with science subjects and now i'll be switching to arts subjects(accounts,eco and business studies) in my A'levels so that i can opt for ACCA.I just wanted to know that is it recommended or should i take another path?can one do CA right after their A'levels?which is more beneficial in Pakistan CA or ACCA?how long does it normally take to do each?and which are the best institutes in Pakistan for such studies? thank you :)

Athar Ahmed (Career Advisor), Karachi Wednesday, June 09 2010 Total Posts: 57  Rate this Answer Dear daughter Aisha, Your intention is good and accurate, You can take admission in Tabani's for completing four Modules of six months each after your A Level, thereafter you can go for Articleship in any good Audit companies where you can complete your CA in 3 1/2 years (Subject to clearing exams), Although your plan of ACCA is also good but definately CA is much higher and superior level degree and also good for girls. Zeshan Edhy (General User), Karachi Wednesday, July 07 2010 Total Posts: 1  Rate this Answer Dear Aisha, I think that u join ACCA becz if u join CA the passing ratio is down now and in ACCA now is a tough time becz lot of students are there and he also down the passing ratio, so i think kindly take admission in MBA (Finance) from IBA, LUMS & Zabist . so after completeion of MBA u get starting a job Of Rs. 30000.
