| Can i do CAT along with FSC as i want to save time in doing ACCA?Is it advisable?I am going to take admission in federal board college and i want to do ACCA and CA.It will take a lot of time so i was thinking to start now.What are the requirements for CAT and of how much duration this course is?should i start CAT with FSC,also please tell me the names of good colleges offering CAT in Karachi.

| | Dear MUhammad, The minimum requirement for CA is intermediate with any subject and with 60 percent marks. and if its 2nd division, then the candidate has to pass an entry test called PPT.. ca k pehlay 4 modules ya semesters a,b,c & d pass kr kay articleship start hoti hai. its 3.5 years training in any registered ca firm. aur arcitleship k doran he study bhi hoti hai. f and f module bhi pas krnay hotay hain. pas ho jain to ICAP ki membership mil jati hai. successful candidate can start partnership or sole business in this ca industry.
acca is UK accountancy body. eskey 3 routes hain. first is professional route.,.. graduation ki hoi ho to direct registration mil jati hai. if NOT graduate.. then the candidate should be 21 years of age. this route is mature student entry route.. es route may pehlay 2 papers 2 years main laazmi paas krnay hotay hain. means 2 papers in 4 attempts.. warna registration cancel ho jati hai. anyway.. 3rd route is CAT route.. es route se anay pe pehlay 3 papers exempt ho jatay hain acca key... total 14 papers pas krnay hotay hain. aik attempt main 4 papers de saktay hain.. june aur december may hotay hain acca exams.. practicle experience ya articleship 3 saal ki hoti hai acca ki..
and for CFA .. its an american based qualification ...
to enroll in cfa, one should have sixteen years of education i.e, holding a masters degree or bachelors with honours.(Be in the final year of your bachelors degree program at the time of registration). -OR holds a recognised professional qualification. * OR have four years of qualified, professional work experience.

| | Asalamualikum alhtough Miss Safia has given you answer in detail what i would say is that in summary is CA you cant it do before inter ACCA if you are 21 than dont worry about CAT or inter you can go directly if you are not 21 and would prefer to go in ACCA through CAT then you can start CAT with inter but think before you start as it is not easy to balance all the things at a same time Good luck..
