Dear consultant
Basically i have done DAE in computer technology, then i started job as a secretary. I am doing job since 2001. But now the situation is totally worse am doing my work sincerity but whenever time comes for my reward i.e. increments and promotion to next grade my boss behave rudely so i should not ask him to give me favour. Now i am exhausted from this situation. please let me know what should i do.

Dear Zara.
Your query showing some kind of attitude. Let take a long breath and close your eyes and think whats wrong either with you or your boss.
One saying is very common " Boss is always Right", Try to handle the situation wisely and skillfully.
You have spent more then eight years and no body wants to loose the job at any cost.
You are engaged in a job, that purely deals the people and their attitude. If you think positively you will find solution yourself.
Try following points.
1. Don't afraid, ask for few minutes permission from your boss and meet your boss and tell him to tell you your mistakes in polite way.
2. If you are realizing any mistake, make apology and must ask for guidance.
3. Try for effective and regular communication with your boss.
4. wait and see attitude change.
In last if you are not getting any signal of attitude change, try for change. Don't leave existing organization till new job confirmation.

Its common situation in all private organisation. your owner show his rude attitute toward you because he not give you any promotion or reward. so dear look for other new job because you have good experience.

Hi Zara it is just my opinion that you should try for a new job some where else now, as you have experience of 9 years, Insha Allah you will get a better job some where. As if you are not giving reward for your performance then what is the point wasting your energies in such organization where they don't value there employees. that are their assets. They want the employees as much as the employees want the jobs. So in am opinion start looking for a job some where else and when you get it then kick that job out. simple and straight.
or u can ask the boss directly ka what is the reason that you are not getting promotion or appraisals. If you are given a valid reason then you can work on your weakness
