Dear Sir! I am a Student of M.B.A from Virtual university of Pakistan. My third semester is getting started in few days time. The problem is that I'll have to choose the specialization field in 4th semester, as I got almost 6 months to decide but one must be confirmed and confident enough to decide which way to go.
My problem is that im not that much good in Mathematical type things,so I'll rule out choosing Finance as a major, the other majors VU offers are MIS, Marketing, Management and HRM.
I was looking to have HRM as major but some people told me that there are prestigious university's student who will be given prefrence. So that also made me indifferent.
Now im indifferent in making any decision because I don't know the positives and negatives of the each one of the offered majors. And also don't know their future in here.
So, please help me in decision making, so that I can choose subject which has value in market and also job oriented.

Well Mr. Asim, You have also chosen a reputed university, so far your area & circumstance is concern. VU has good credibility too. Every subject has the worth & market demand, less or more, might be, your attitude most concerns, actually it depends on the individual to whome is most suitable for him/her. According to your choice for specialization, I think you may have two choices
1. Marketing
2. HRM
For choosing one of them, you have to look in your strengths / abilities. Yours innovative ideas should be matched with the choice.
Marketing is always demanding concerning with sales of goods / services. HRM is most demanding nowadays because; this is emerging field by replacing the traditional personnel management.
